Meal Program

Aurora Christian Academy (ACA) provides a free breakfast and lunch for all students who are enrolled in the school.  According to a recent U.N. report, Zambia is the most malnurished country in Africa.  This is mainly due to the fact that the primary diet consists of little more than nshima (maize).  Children are getting very little protein and few other essential vitimins. 

 

The purpose of this meal program is to provide children with a diet rich in protein and other essential vitimins.  Since starting this program in 2017, we have seen an increase in the academic performance of our students and our students are now missing fewer school days due to sickeness.
